seems recently i'm finding myself addicted to these. i liked the one about the king and the kaiser ''royal cousins at war'', there was something distinctly humbling about it. in history class, i used to always remember that poor kaiser wilhelm got dragged into world war 1 against his best friend and cousin, who was also a champ ; tsar nicholas in russia. there is something so cool about world war 1 and that period. i would loved to have been around at that time, because i've always been intrigued by that whole era, especially the naval side of it all. when i was growing up in orkney at the far north of scotland, i was surrounded by the remnants of the scuttled german world war 1 fleet.

could you imagine in 1918 waking up to this?
