Hey guys promised this a few weeks back, my car has been needing its proper maintainence detail, it was absolutely filthy as i havent been able to do it for so long now. Got the day off work today so woke up at 8:30 as the weather was so lovely which was amazing, thought id take step by step pictures and explain what I did, pretty basic stuff to be honest  need some more Dodo Juice stuff I think
Here is the pictures of the car before I started, looking pretty dirty :
Noticed how dull the metallic black had become, definately needed some TLC
Inside wasent too bad just needs a good hoover out as i usually dust over the dash every day if i can, wing mirrors needed a scratch sorting out aswell that I noticed, also made me realise how much the back of the Twingo picks up dirt, my last car had mudflaps on so never got quite as bad.
I started off by giving the whole car a good rinse off, as usual paying more attention on the lower half of the car and around the wheelarche's, most of the dirt blasted off pretty easy as most flicked up last nite in the heavy rain we had, I then got my prized possession of my Dodo Juice storing case  and used Dodo Juice Sour Power rather than Born to mild, as I needed to reapply wax today, a few arty pics I tried out lol:
The wheels were shocking but I just had to use the sour power on them and the dirt shifted pretty quick
While I was drying my car off with a Microfibre cloth, my dad decided to come out and give the poor RS meg 250 a clean, it was absolutely filthy which that car shouldnt be, here's the beast, absolutely love this car (also managed to persuade him to go and take some pics of my car and the 250 together once they were both completed) :
Once I had dried it all, I moved onto treating the metallic black parts on it as they often need a bit more attention, they were looking a bit dull and had a few swirly marks on spoiler and a scratch on the left hand side wing mirror, I used Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite for this as found it works better on Blacks also dosent have abrasives in so wont cut down the paint so much, I then used Autosmart polish for the body to get rid of any fine scratches and to prepare the paint for a wax:

AFTER:
Once I polished it, I started to apply some Dodo Juice Purple Haze to the paint, had to use this one as run out of diamond white, but it still works well on white plus you can see where you have applied it being purple, I applied one coat waited 10 mins, cleaning the windows inbetween and then took it off, I waited another 30 mins and then applied a second coat, here are the results, I noticed how much better and how more instantly the water beads and runs off with the extra coat:
SOME SILLY SHOTS LOL
Me and my dad then drove to a local car-park were I took a few shots of the 2 cars together looking pretty cool, dad got in the way of most of my good shots sadly lol, would look amazing if we had a RS clio 200 aswell in white think a lottery win is needed:
My favourite pic
Finally to finish the car off, when I got back home I applied Meguiers tyre gel to the tires to make them look fresh again:
Thanks for looking, hope there wasent too many pictures lol
