Hi all.
Lurked a while as I nearly took the plunge a couple of years ago but am now actively looking to buy a 133.
Mostly in a vain effort to capture a bit of nostalgia! I started driving in the glorious mid-late 80's hot hatch era. My favourite was an AX GT, ridiculous amount of fun for such a little engine and the 133 is probably the last of the breed of cars that will come close to that lightweight, simple, chuck it about feel. I've tired the Swift Sport and Panda 100HP but having driven a noisy, revvy, 11 plate 133 last week I think that could be the one.
When I went to test it I was in a loner m135i for the weekend and I have to say blasting about narrow roads in the RS was as much fun as the hyper-speed of the m, in a different way of course.
I'm probably a bit old for a 133 (wrong end of 40's) but you're never too old I guess.
Main question is that virtually all the 133's I see for sale out there are on the 17" wheels but most of the cars are not described as Cup models (and appear to have the twin rear seats = non-Cup?)?? Is it that the owners are unsure or that many people chose 17" wheels as options on the non-Cup?
Also, I've seen mention of 'full fat' - what does that mean?
