So I finish a really terrible and stressful day in work. Get to my car and notice this (I love supermarkets):

So in my anger and stress I get home and just T-Cut it (what an idiot). As I go inside and wait for the T-Cut to dry for a minute, the fairly nice day suddenly turns into hail and rain out of nowhere (Thank you Wales!). I then wait for the quick storm to subside and continue to remove the T-Cut. The end result left me with my paint being discolored:

Does anyone know how (or even if!) I can restore the paintwork :/ (I'm a cleaning novice so try to dumb the language down for me XD).

Any help appreciated.

(I have now learnt that T-Cut in the wrong hands can be lethal.)

I would get something like autoglym ultra deep shine and see if that will work!

I used to have a smart and the spoiler would always grey and discolour, after using this it looked brand new and worked really well that's my opinion and a product I trust!

UDS won't work.

SRP probably will though. Somethkng with a light cut to finish. T cut is very abrasive and needs a finishing polish with a lower level of cut to produce the glossy finish. Great for scratch removal in the grand scheme though.

This is typical finish tbh

Autoglym paint restorer worked well on some oxidised paint I had on the saxo.

Might be good for you :p

Ty for the responses. I'll pick up an Autoglym bundle with everything in and hopefully it will work. :) I'll keep you updated.

I'd use auto glum paint restorer then werkstatt prime strong either acrylic or carnauba depending on what paint your car has metallic or gloss it's tons better that auto Glym bud

I'd certainly give Super Resin Polish a go, it's a good filling polish.

Don't worry though, you'll be able to sort it. T-Cut is just unnecessarily abrasive really. It has it's place for some tasks but I'd steer clear for the reasons shown above. :(

Hope you get it sorted fella.
