How to use Voice Recognition/Dialling

Argh! I spent ages adding voice tags onto the head unit for voice recognition dialling, I press button 19 as instructed in the manual (the button is on the remote stalk on the steering wheel) but it just brings up the phone settings but no voice dial prompt appears.

Can anyone please advise?

I've tried that, pressed and held for 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, double tapped, pressed once, nothing but the telephone menu

Yes exactly the same. The button with the green/red telephone and the voice recognition icon. I have been pressing the correct button (I'm no duh brain lol). I'm following the manual exactly. Although the manual doesn't say to press and hold, it just says press. But again, I have pressed and held and also just pressed once. Pressing and holding does nothing, pressing the button once only brings up the telephone menu.

I will be driving the car to my local renault dealer tomorrow to find out :/

Don't think you can on mine, doesn't even access the damn phone book on my new phone, it did my old blackberry, makes it almost useless :/

If its an iPhone you need the latest 5.1 iOS mine had been playing up to bin it and get a propper phone :lol:
