Get the 4s mate
or don't. I hate my 4. I hate iPhones now I've owned one. So much premium for a non premium product

My phone acts as calendar, phone, email, address book, web browser, messenger, camera, and more. And the iPhone is merely competent in most areas. Annoying and I won't be replacing it with a new model

4S still the best phone on the market, you're crazy buying anything else.

i loved my iPhone 4 when i got it, cant fault it really but I have ended up jailbreaking it to increase its functions, where as the same functions seem to be standard on a HTC.

think i may take a leap of faith into the hands of HTC, (if i like it in person) ;)

Had a Samsung galaxy s2 for a few months and loving it. Not seen the HTC one x in the flesh but they are normally very well built my desire HD (work phone) was spot on. personally not a fan of the HTC sense stuff.

I had a 3GS before the S2, loved it but iTunes did my head in, it just seems to get worse and worse with each iteration. I only wanted to put music on my phone, not for it to attempt to sort my music collection, selecting a load of files to move, setting the system and hidden attributes and then ******* over the folder structure.

With the S2, I use foobar, point the library at my music collection that I have sorted, and just right click on the music or playlist I want and send it to the phone, no mess and no massive program needed to do it.

User error on iTunes!

It's all done over wi-fi now anyway, just tick the songs/playlists, albums etc you want on your phone within iTunes and they sync to the phone. Or use iTunes match and have all your music in the cloud on any apple device or pc/mac.

There's always at least one fan boy :p

Fair enough you like them, but personally I prefer android phones. Easily prefer them. Can't wait to get back to them

User error, Not the case. This was when i was allowing itunes to move music between directories and sort the files. A fresh install of itunes 10 when it came out. As it processes files it sets the hidden and system file attributes when moving the files, probably so you cant interrupt the move. In this case it didn't set them back and didn't reimport them, probably couldn't see them in the file system oddly enough. Was a well know problem at the time. Shocking non the less.

For me being able to just plug in a device, copy the stuff i want to it is good enough. In times when i really want something that's not on my phone i can pull it from my NAS box.

As for icloud. Not for me.

The itunes music matching thingy, music stored in apples cloud, what is the quality of the music?

Anyway I digress. Each to their own. Horses for courses and all that. Iphones suck ;)

Joking apart, go for a change, it may surprise you. Variety is the spice of life.

I'm quite the fan of iPhones, but recently made the switch away myself. Changed to a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I don't regret the switch at all. IPhones are pretty great all in all, but I occasionally found myself getting a bit board of the UI, and wishing I could customise a few things. Was originally thinking I was going to upgrade to a newer iPhone, but got playing with the latest Gen Droid phones and really liked the Nexus.

There's so much personal opinion with mobiles that you can't just say x is the best. You can say this is the best for you and why, but lots of people will have different reasons.

The one x is a beast of a phone and that 5 core (4 processing cores one separate to deal with scheduling) processor will be massively quick for a good while. The things that would worry me with it are,
-will that beasty processor mean a shorter battery life in real world use,
-HTC sense is a bit of a system drain. If they keep bloating it further they're going to be using lots of your fancy devices capability just for that
-I personally prefer stock android over all the various android skins. I'd suggest trying a few out {Samsung galaxy s 2, (3 in a few weeks), galaxy nexus, Motorola RAZR, etc} as well to make sure you'll be happy.

oooo I want one! enjoy it when you get it :)

alls I know is I have a blackberry which works (from time to time when it likes) , the mrs has an Iphone (3, 4, 4s, GTI????) with a smashed screen ... I'm quite impressed that it still receives and makes calls after being run over by my bike.

hey guys, just got back from my week away, bought the HTC One X before i went, and Im glad I did, cracking bit of a kit, so fast and the camera is immense :)

if anyone is thinking of getting one, get it :D
