Anyone have one of these?

I'm interested to hear what people have.

I'm looking at the Dogcam Bullet HD.
The standard version at around £89, not the wide one as I think the verticals converge too much.

I know the GoPro's are very good, but theyre £150+.
I'm not bothered about getting one of the cheapo car keyfob jobbies either (well, unless someone convinces me they are really good!!)

Links please if you have them (or PM ;) )

I have a GoPro HD and a Drift Innovation HD170 STealth, both very good cams but for different uses I would say.

The Drift needs a proper support, and is for inside car shots, as it needs a case to be waterproof. The very good side of it is that it includes a zoom, an LCD screen, and an external microphone which offers a very good sound quality.

The GoPro HD doesn´t have a screen (extra $$), comes with the suction cup which means you can put it almost anywhere, is waterproof so perfect for outside shots, but offers a really poor sound quality.

Also, using both cameras this winter, the Drift offers better colours and the luminosity can be adjusted too. The lens is globally of better quality than the GoPro´s.

I hope I helped. Now you can find second hand cams on Ebay for not too much money and in good shape, rather than spending some cash on a brand new "whatever brand" rubbish cam that you will regret afterwards.

I have an app on my iPhone called Witness. All you need is a window mount and it works rather well. Looking at less than £15 for the lot, plus the phone obviously haha.

It records a video, plus speed, location and direction.

I was thinking about the cheapo route and just getting a mount Alex.
Cheers for the heads up.

Still tempted by a GoPro or Dogcam, but dont know how much I'll really use it.
I presume it will be one of those novelty things that you stuff in the back of the drawer.

Don't get me wrong mate, it's not as good as a proper set up but for an app that's under £2 and a mount you can get for under a tenner it's worth a go.
