Increase in twingos on the road

Just as i come to sell my little pride and joy, i have just recently started to notice alot more of the renaultsport Twingos in and around Swindon lately, im starting to see them everywhere whereas i used to have the only one around for miles.

Anyone elses thoughts on this?

Same here! There's one identical to mine local and I've seen it twice in since January haha

I have the only one by me for bout 40 miles that I know of only ever seen one other in my area and that use to belong to a mate who has now sold it .

Be careful saying that, i didn't know of any near me and i've seen 4 in 2 weeks! all within 3-4 miles of each other!

They're still like hens' teeth where I am and that's why I love it! I have a mate who owned a white Cup before I got mine (who no longer has it now) but the only times I've seen them have been at meets/cruises (where I usually see scott133 and madmatt)!

This is also true actually, there's hardly any Twingos in general. To be fair though, if I was looking to buy a cheap runaround I wouldn't buy a base spec Twingo, I'd buy something like an older Clio or a Fiesta for the same price. I only like the Twingo 133.

Twingos in general seem pretty rare, In the two weeks since I got mine I've only seen two, one s1 standard model and a new shape one today. Haven't seen another GT let alone a 133.

u have seen more in 2 weeks than i have in almost 2 years

I have definitely seen a lot more on the road, I know there is Sherrard by me, as well as a silver RS, blue RS and saw an old guy driving a mirage grey one! haha!

You lot need too get out more, I see a few kicking about my way and know some of them through here or by stopping and talking too them.

yeah maybe the trend is just starting, i really am starting to see a few of them around now! but yeah i would also claim i started the trend with buying mine 3 years ago and proberbly had one of the first in swindon except from the carbon wrapped one that my local renault dealer had.

I've seen a lot more Twingos since I bought mine, but I think it's because i'm looking for them. That said, I'm yet to see another GT locally.

There's loads around glasgow and a mk1 twingo around Dumbarton. I see them almost daily

Come a bit more North Waitey then you may see a Wind & I might spot a Twingo around here!
