I want an air filter or induction kit for my twingo133 but is it worth getting the full induction kit? I only really want it to give it a good noise and don't want to spend a lot either?

I would go panel filter personally, improves the sound without to much work needing to be done

Does it make as much of a difference to the sound as a cone filter would? And can you recommend any good ones?

Wanted one of those but they are like £120 are they not? How much second hand? And where to get them? Cheers

I would recommend an induction kit. We got a pipercross viper for ours and it sounds crazy! Will try and get a video for you later, but you can see ours here: projects-progress-threads/the-twins-twingo-t11462-25.html

We got ours second hand for £30 - didn't think it was necessary to buy something like that brand new. As you say, they're pretty pricey!

As for preventing heat soak, we've not noticed any power or torque difference since having fitted ours, it just sounds mental. Also find it's a good gauge of fuel economy for near the end of the month: if you can drive without hearing the induction kit, you're being economical!

That's genius! I like your style of thinking :p

so by that definition should really go with throttleboddies to make 100% sure you know when not driving with a lead foot

i got a k&n apollo £30, mint, doddle to fit, don't bother spending cash 50/60 notes on a panel filter, stick with factory filter or go induction, imo.

Ok mate Where's best to get them second hand?
google apollo k&n used or ebay, the used bargains are there, but no ones going to come knocking offering a deal, gotta do the legwork, i had a new bmc panel in my gt, couldn't tell any difference in noise from a factory panel, ok youve got a sticker telling people youve changed your filter but sounds the same as before.
