So my renewal is next month and I'm ditching Admiral as I want modified insurance
Unfortunately Prestige couldn't match my quotes, well they could but my no claims would not be protected. I shall try them again next year (pleasure to speak to on the phone).

Brentacre have come up with £689.99 with £500 excess
Adrian Flux are £645 with £400 excess

Who would you recommend to go with out of the two? as I'm sure Brentacre would match the quote as they seem to have based their quote so it beat Admirals.

Both include key cover, legal cover, windscreen etc etc

Gone with brentacre as they've matched the quote. Happy days!

Close thread (most pointless thread, apologies)

I dunno where all prestiges amazingly happy (and happy to write about it) customers actually come from. They were nearly double the price. And the bloke I spoke to changed my name in the emails that followed through to Jerry Maguire as a bit of a laugh. If I had joked with him on the phone, maybe...

talking about insurance mine was £3180 last year and has now dropped to £1230 with a £4300 claim against my name with admiral

Mine was £153 this year. :(

Other companies that don't mind modifications are Competition Car Insurance, Sky, and Need To Insure.

Ouch. With mods, I'm looking at £500 which seems steep to me now :p

Holy effing eff! That's crazy!

On another note I'll be getting reamed this year because I haven't saved and I'll have to pay monthly :(

Plenty of 0% credit cards around to pay insurance off in one go to avoid interest.

You sir may well have just saved me a wad of money
Cheers!

Have you not? Seem to get mentioned a lot on other forums.
Its a fully modified policy and you have to have at least one modification at all times, my simple change of alloy wheels covers that. Only need to know about engine performance mods more than 15bhp he told me on the phone. Knew what he was talking about on the phone as well was very impressed. He advised my to just change the springs and keep the renaultsport shocks as its a perfect set up as it is!
