Just had a quote from Adrian Flux as i seen on here they do a 15% discount... Well I'm not going with them thats for sure! a grand on top of my current insurance and all i had declared was the spoiler?!!

Who do you guys go with? Just doing the usual comparison sites at the moment...!

Im with Adrian Flux they was the cheapest qoute i got. Have you tryed Sky Insurance?

Sky as in Rupert Murdoch Sky? Never heard of them ill look now..

Hmm, if that's not a prompt to install a "like" plugin I don't know what is.

Good point, but massive insurance is fine if your willing to pay it, but I am NOT paying it after paying a lower rate for a year! (if that makes sense)...
I'm happy to pay the amount I am paying now - preferably less - but I'm not willing to pay a grand on top of what I'm already paying is what I am trying to say.

Hmm like button is needed!

And as for the costs, it's going up for everyone. By how much depends on certain things like, the amount of rs lookalike parts which makes a car look like something it's not, now that's not a dig but what I mean is, if you make it look like something someone else will want to steal... you're gonna expect it to be more likely to be stolen. How they work

Not being funny, but that is a bit of a dig, and not really appreciated seeing as I have only put stickers and a spoiler on it to make it look like the rs. It's not like I'm going around trying to make my car super high performance with cup spoilers, modified engines, exhaust systems etc. just the basic spoiler and stickers. I have changed my car to look like something it isn't, yes. But I don't see how that should be bought up when there are also a lot of other people who drive the rs's that try and make them something they are not.

No I think what you've done looks brilliant. Not my cup of tea but it is done very well. But look at it from an insurance companies point of view....

The only thing the insurance company needs to know about it is the spoiler, which is all they have been told. raising insurance a grand due to a spoiler and NOTHING else is ridiculous.
