Well, when I say old I mean nearly 30!!

I got my insurance renewed on my Megane 225 for.....................£430!!! Took a bit of fannying about on the phone but overall I really can't complain at that price.

That means I'm not getting both my Megane and Twingo 133 for under £800. Well chuffed. :)

For my RS250 including telling them about my remap and miltek costs me £240 for me the wife with protected no claims

It's good to hear people actually getting a good deal on their insurance as well. Some of the premiums I've known people to pay are insane.

A friend of mine is 21 and drives a 1.6 Bora, not exactly the most sporty car yet his insurance is £1,200!

I consider £430 a pretty good deal purely as I only have 5 years no claims (was a named driver until I was 24). Also £100 less than my renewal and about 300-400 quid less than most other places tried to offer me.

My wife has 3 years no claims and had her licence for 3 years she just got her 1.5dci grand scenic for £420 fully comp with me on it aswel. She is 29

Good going that. Im 28 with 5yrs NCD and the clio still cost me £650 last renewal eeek.

The only thing I can put it down to is that it's only insured for 1,500 miles a year so I think that makes a difference.

Certainly worth trying Adrian Flux for a quote as I think £430 is brilliant. It doesn't help that I have a Croydon post code even though I'm actually about 20 minutes South and 1/2 miles away from being in a different borough.

Ouch. I pay less than that for 6,000 - though my area is considered pretty low risk.

Is that for a the 133 though? I only pay about £320 for the Twingo.

Trouble I have is that I was a named driver until I was 24 so only have 5 years no claims. I'm not sure I'm in a high risk area but I know outside of a Croydon postcode would help.

Ahhhh. Missed the bit higher up and hadn't realised you switched to the Megane.

Haha no worries mate. I've had the Megane longer than I've had the Twingo though.

In fact the Megane is 6 years old tomorrow haha. Damn that sounds a long time ago! I'm rather grateful that both cars now cost me only about £750 for the pair now though.

i pay 600 for 18,000 miles a year with admiral. im 27 with 3 years no claims and 6 points. its great living in a 'respectable' area and the car is garaged overnight

I garage certainly is a bonus having a garage and even parking off road. Luckily I get to keep the Megane garaged and the Twingo is off the road as well.

Admitedly where I live is actually a really nice area but I reckon if i didn't have a CR postcode my insurance would be a little bit cheaper. Then again I can't complain really lol.

Im 28 4 years ncb 6 points hgv driver and live in essex and i pay close to 900 a year on a 133joke!
