Hi All,

Is anyone planning on Competing/Marshalling/Organising/Spectating or Servicing for the Jim Clark Rally this year?

It's the only (legal) Closed Road tarmac rally event in the UK mainland and is held every year in Kelso and the surrounding areas.

There's a great mix between WRC, Historic, Nationals, Clubman and even sometimes Land Rovers (if you are so way inclined).

I've Marshalled the event for the last 5 years now and it's always a great way to see some great motorsport and give something back :)

The marshalls are always well looked after and the camping at the Racecourse/Service area (because the Hotels in Kelso are booked out a year in advance) always has a great atmosphere and good banter.

Anyone fancy finding out a bit more about the event, try here: https://www.jimclarkrally.com/

or for pictures from the previous event, try here:

Ill be going again this year spectating, pretty sure there was a couple of Twingo R2's wasnt there?

The Twingo R1 and R2 Challenge is on, so *fingers crossed* there should be more than a couple :D

There were 2 running last year :)

Hey Guys,

There's a pretty urgent plea going on for Marshals this year.
If you want to get down, see it upclose, get access all areas and tell annoying prats to move it, get signing up as a marshal.

You are well looked after :)

Well, what another great weekend.

Twingo R1/2 guys were going well, some better than others. Red R2 was looking sorry for itself on Sunday's Bothwell Stage.

No Major issues with cars or spectators.
Friday's Duns stage was stop/start due to local tw*ts throwing stones, bottles, crates at rallycars during competitive stage and due to a woman in Labour - A JCR First!

Saturday's Ayton Stages went well, all the pictures are from the Ayton Split/Merge.

I have also, by popular demand, included some pictures of the Twingo R1 and R2 cars, ran by Monster Sport. See Monster Sport thread :)

Looks like a good weekend wish I could have went down again this year!
The Scottish gravel rally is in Dumfries on 30th, more than welcome to tag along :D

Might just do that. You going to knockhill this weekend?
