Im saying that cause everyone just asks the same questions! I made it as something that makes you go "Wow, he made that all by hand!?"

Dont know if anyone on here will appreciate it but im really proud of it :D theres dovetails of the top back joint but i didnt get a picture of them..

I was entered into a competition as the best in my year group for Joinery to go against all the chosen people in the northwest.. I came 1st with this beast, we all had to make the same thing

After winning i got a place in the UK Finals for 'Cabinet making' and thats in september, so i need practise hence why i made the first picture!

I love my woodwork :D

I'm an ex woodmonkey (what other DT departments used to call us)

Dovetail joint are bloody hard! Thats some good wood workmanship there. The only thing I would say is that there's a 1/2mm gap between the bit that holds the diamond up and the main body. Just mix some sawdust from the wood you were using mix it with glue. If its done right you wouldn't notice that it's been filled in :)

Yeah i noticed that too, couldnt see it before it was oiled!
