I brought a 57 plate twingo GT from a renault main dealer yesterday, currently running down the insurance on my old car before taking 7 days insurance via renault my car is due for collection on the 23rd and I can say I'm more than excited I currently have a 1.0 Corsa and the change to a 1.2T which is almost twice as fast and the same weight is really exciting me I'm here to pick up tips and tricks from you all as well as share any I find for my pride and joy.

Thank you all, I'm just going through insurance quotes for the car at the moment admiral seems to be the cheapest, I'm 20 with 2 years no claims, but don't want one of those silly trackers or limited mile policies that go crazy when you do 34mph or 64 on a motorway, what would you all recommend ?

Any modifications or tweaks planned?

I'm with Only Young Drivers at the moment, was with Admiral previously but OYD were £600 cheaper.

I'm 22 with no years no claims (oops) so mine isn't cheap either way :(

I am happy with it the way it is (for now) should meet all my needs for performance and mpg, the only thing that's suspect is the alloys it came with dont know if they are factory or aftermarket (aftermarket I imagine) though they are the same size as the originals, don't know how this would effect things

Yeah there aftermarket, get some 25mm spacers in there and you'll be onto a winner

Look like rays or rota copy wheels. Very nice all the same, if you fancy a swap for takata green gt wheels then bobs your uncle

They have some writing on the inside will have a good look into them when I get the car might swap them out for something similar though I do quite like them, look like they belong to the car
