Laptop Battery

My battery on the laptop only stays alive for about 5 minutes now if im lucky so ui guess its time to replace.

Any ideas?

I've bought a few replacement laptop batteries off eBay before and they've turned out alright.

To make sure, check you're replacing at least like for like in terms of mAH, otherwise you might be buying a battery designed not to last as long as what you're used to.

Seriously for that price wouldn't touch it with a barge pole you COULD do more damage to your laptop.

Tho if your laptop is over a year old it prob doesn't matter

Any help would be grateful. Laptop work no problem just the battery has given up im surpraised it lasted 3 years.

My dell old inspiron 6400 (think that's the right number, the one with a white edge to the screen lid) had a replacement battery off ebay for a similar price, could even be the same seller as the name sounds familiar.

good quality, worked fantastically until I trod on the computer and broke the screen

, no point wasting money on over priced batteries because of a brand name
