Light problem?

Has the car a few months now and loving it, wanting to do a custom induction kit next and an exhaust too when the original finally dies, anyway lol, i noticed that when i put on my lights the speedo and rev counter are really dim and hard to read. When lights are off speedo is fine (possible VERY slight flicker) i thought it could of been a bulb but both went at exact same time. Any ideas? They are affected if on side lights full or main beam and absolutly nothing else is affected.

Tried the dimmer dial?

try a wiggle test on the wiring, if it makes it flutter or flicker again theres your problem > most probably a dodgy connection on the fuse relay.

there is a brightness wheel down and to right of steering wheelnext to head light adjuster.


have you tried turning that?

Where? Was it a loose connector, or a wire coming away from a connector?

Not sure the garage where i got it sorted it and the guy wasnt sure just said was a loose wire but im curious about that myself.
