Hi peeps,

Recently bought my twingo 2nd hand and cannot fing the locking wheel nut.

Anyone got one to sell?

Thanks,

Dave in Wigan :)

If your meaning the key (nut) to fit onto the locking bolts on your wheels, your probably out of luck getting one second hand! Theres loads of different combinations.

Have you looked in the glove box, as theres a slot that takes the Renault Boutique locking wheel nut box.

It doesn't cost much to get a new one from Renault. All they need is your reg IIRC.

I had to get a new one when I left mine on the wheel (doh) and lost it "somewhere" whilst driving. Annoying thing is, I only put the wheel back on to go get some more caliper paint which I then couldn't put on!!

No more than £20 I think...

To get a new locking wheel but key you will need the key number that should be in the locking wheel but key box if will start in FER then about 4 digits they are about £20-£25

If you do need one drop me a pm

Can't you get it from the chassis number which was used?

Thank you everyone, I thought it might be the case to go to renault.

Twingogeeko thanks mate, i'll let you know (have to wait for pay day yet!)

Look on the vehicle Log Book (V5) as theres a place on the front page for the previous keepers details. Maybe ask them if they know the whereabouts ;)

If its not in the case check the handbook to see if the dealers done there job right.

And maggi no you can't get them from the chassis as there fitted at the docks
