Hi

Does anyone know what angle the taper needs to be on the locking wheel bolts? As I need to get sone new ones.

I know from searching I need m12x1.5 but unsure on the collar taper angle.

Also with my standard alloys do I need to find some lockers with the connical washer or does it matter if there is no washer?

Any help is appreciated :)

60 degree seat.

The nuts i'm now running on the stud concversion don't have floating washersfor the seat ;)

Sweet cheers buddy.

So just got confirm...doesn't really matter if they have the washers then?

Basically whats happened is one of the previous owners have lost the locker key, had them removed then used the spare wheel nuts in their place but the alloy nuts aren't designed for the spare due to the washer and the spare has a label on it saying so too....so need new ones lol.

Scratch that thought. I've just had a look and the bolts with the spare wheel and the alloy wheel bolts are the same length.

I'm confused now...do I need the 60 degree and the washer or no washer required? Mine are only the standard 16" alloys without spacers.

Haha. Sorry Lewis.

I deleted my comment where I wondered if the alloy wheel bolts were longer than the ones with a fixed seat for the steel space saver. Potentialy protruding too far through the hub and damaging the ABS ring or something. Obviously thats not the case as the bolts are the same length.

Haha that makes perfect send now :) thought I'd misread something hehe
