Feel sorry for anyone getting caught up in all the rioting around London. So many places and things set on fire now I'm fairly surprised no-one's been reported as hurt from the fires. It appears to be getting pretty mad around the place.

It's apparently started spreading to Birmingham now too

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14450248

Same we was talking about it at work today. They are just wrecking the neighbour hoods and people that run a small business that is there liverly hood has been destoryed and robbed!

It on the news now

Birmingham
Clapham
Peckham
Croydon
Hackney

They should just give up and leave it they have shown what they want all thats going to happen is innocent people are going to get hurt!

Also with all this i wonder how long its going to be intill the olympics are taken away from us?

Oh my god! This is the first I have heard of these riots, what on earth is it all over I don't understand :? confusing

It's in Lewisham too. I don't see what they think they're accomplishing now outside of hurting local/national businesses and people.

Maybe they think it is solving a problem when its just making it all worse.

215 arrests and 25 police in hospital so far apparently. And just heard it's spread to the Leeds/Bradford area too.

Just shocking

Crikey, just watching the news live - and the building that the furniture shop was set on fire in Croydon is completely obliterated. Mental

90% of the douche bags out there are gonna be 90% of the people who attended the g8 summit riots. And 90% of the people who tried to start violence at all the public sector rallys. And 90% of the people who started the student protest violence too.

"professional anochists" I think they might be referred to. Some people think they're above the law. And the sad fact in this weakened country is, they probably are.

My thoughts go out to those caught up needlessly

A lot of the current reports are now saying that most people are out basically to see how much stuff they can loot. Abhorrent behaviour

Couldn't agree more, I'm just waiting to see how far it spreads, I've got a horrible feeling it could get messy

watching it on sky news now and it dont look good!!

sod there human rights get the water cannons and rubber bullets out!!

Lots more areas being added to the list in London now. Ealing, Old Kent Road, Tower Bridge, Camden. It's difficult to keep up with the places coming in, so not surprised the out-numbered police are struggling.

Wouldn't want to be in the force tonight, they're doing some brave work

my heart goes out to all those innocent that are getting caught up in this. the police are very very brave people to even think about throwing themselves in there to attempt to bring order. the rioters should be ashamed of themselves and think about stopping all this. its not helping anyone or anything!! ive been watching this most of the night and the chaos is unreal.

Just watching the news now and it said people had to protect there homes last night with pots and pans

Shouldn't laugh but that sounded like a comedy sketch

Also kicked off in woolwich last night police stood there and watched them raid comet also set the weatherspoons pub on fire down there

It started in Bristol too last night but By the sound of the reports the police managed to control a lot of it... It all quite shocking a no real purpose

Scum, just waiting for a excuse to ruin lives.

If there was a initial message hidden in the first peaceful protest it has been completely lost now. Time to crack out the rubber bullets & mace.

As for Mark Duggan, correct me if im wrong because I didn't follow this part to closely and I can only based this on the image given by the media... but you simply don't raise a weapon (fake or not) at a highly trained Specialist Firearms Officer. It only ends one way, correct or not.

Do yourself all a massive favour and refuse to watch the news. It gives this scrots exactly what they want; fame. And at the end of the day that's all they want. (And free TVs)

IMO I think they need to let them do what they want to their own communities! I feel sorry for the shop owners, who's lively hoods have been ruined..
And then there's all the families who's houses and flats have been burnt down, all their cars.. Buses police cars. It's their own problem, they should be left to destroy where they live by themselves!
