so i had a little bump in the twingo the other night, resulting in it landed on a garden fence! and 1 wheel having a chunk missing.. so i have the alloy ready to be fixed, have the front bumper and pillar sorted to be painting but there was a long piece of plastic hanging out from under the bumper(like some sort of guard) but thats all that i can see just now, i havnt had the car up on stands yet to have a closer look but the plastic grill under the number plate was knocked back in so i pulled it back to where it was but after that i have noticed you can push the middle of the bumper right in, so its as if there is something missing from behind it or something is snapped ? does anyone know anything about how the bumper is mounted? also if anyone knows where to get the plastic surounds for the drivers side wing mirror that would be brilliant, one has a good scratch in it aswell, cheers!

Getting the bumper off would let you have a propper look at whats loose/unclipped/broken. It's not too difficult to do, but theres two screws (one each side) in the wheel arch that are awkward to get at.

Theres a place on ebay thats breaking a 133 and have broken a few previously

Uhm I'm sorry to go off track but "a little bump" resulted with the car "landed on a garden fence." Fancy filling some blanks in? May just be the way you've worded it

These have broken a Dini or two and have just done a white 133, so worth a call

Front bumper removal
1. Undo Top Torx bolts on slam panel.
2. Undo Torx screws in arch holding on underarch.
3. Undo 10mm Bolt in arch holding on Bumper to front wing.
4. Undo bottom bolts under the front end, behind the splitter. About 4 10mm Bolts.
5. Pull corners of bumper away from front wings
6. Slightly lift slam pannel and then pull forwards away from two press-stud clips near the inner corner of lights
7. disconnect fog light wiring if needed

Any idea where to get bumper clips? Mines ever so slightly out of alignment, Evans halshaw told me last week one of the clips was broken, and have left it at that...

Just thought id update this thread for gt owners who wish to remove their front bumper..
1. Undo Top Torx bolts on slam panel x 3/4 bolts
2. Undo 1 torx screw in each arch ( keeping arch liners attached) plus 2 on the underside on each side
3. Undo 10mm Bolt in arch holding on Bumper to front wing on each side.
4. Undo bottom bolts under the front end, behind the splitter. 3 x 10mm Bolts.
5. Pull corners of bumper away from front wings
6. Slightly lift slam pannel and then pull forwards away from two press-stud clips near the inner corner of lights
7. disconnect fog light wiring if needed

Hope this helps any gt owners!
