Mac help

on my macbook i have pages/numbers etc... (cant remember what package is called) 08

now on my ipad i have 09 ( i think its 09 anyways)

my question is... if i want the new software on my macbook..can i just download it from the apple website or do i have to go and buy the software from a shop??

Rob, you need to buy it mate, its called I works. you cant install it on os 10.4, so u need 10.5 or 10.6

mate looks like there store doesnt do digital downloads, not sure if pc world would do dig downloads

might worth a check with google to see if theres any online shops that will do digi downloads. im not sure if Game does basic software as their service was quite good.

Depending on your OS version there's the Apps Store where you can download iworks

Ok ok... OS, iWork and iLife don't. The "cheaper" software they don't seem to care about however the Pro level software they do

I have often wondered why the OS has a serial yet you never have to input it. Obscure considering if you counteract piracy on the OS, surely it would make the other pirated programmes harder to get on it.
