modify car? or sell?

Ok so some of you will know about my recent car troubles etc.

long story short ive now got this petrol 1 series for a week which isnt good as im falling back in love with petrol engines...

in reality i couldnt afford to run a petrol bmw with the mileage i do

im getting kind of bored with my car.. but they can look AMAZING with a bit of modifying and i reckon i can make it look amazing and quality... but i dont know what to do

should i put the money it...make it the car i want just with the diesel engine (which suits me as it gets awesome mpg and it is a lovely car)

or do i sell and by something smaller/petrol (twingo maybe) and modify that?

urgh i cant decide!!! ;(

Selling seems to be the better option with the issues your currently having. Maybe not a twingo as if your still doing some hefty mileage then it wouldn't be so practical. There's always zetec s diesel fiestas out there. Sporty and good on fuel but not to everyone's taste I guess.

My experience is once iv had the "shall I change it" thoughts, its goes, only a matter of time.

Did the same with my Meg, had the bad thoughts, starting modding it, then sold it anyway. wasting the money

I think it's a little foolish seeing as youve had the erm "sell bug" for a while. Having said that I shall watch and admire your progress thread
