Anyone know where can I get engine mods for a twingo gt, ie throttle bodies, high lift cams, forged pistons, valve springs, short shifter etc etc etc....?

forged piston's don't exist yet, high lift cams don't exist yet, throttle bodies are near impossible on a turbo car unless you opt for a plenum chamber and with the minute space in the engine bay you'd perhaps struggle badly with that at best. so you can rule out the throttle bodies completely. as for the high lift cams, there will be some developed soon. i've just bought a cylinder head from a breakers and am in the process of cleaning it up before i send it off to catcams. the cams once ready shall be supplied with uprated valve springs, of which you could readily get from anywhere that sells valve springs. all you need to know is the dimensions and spring rates of your currents and bobs your uncle.

on the short shifter note, you could buy the clio mk 2 short shifter and just install that. possibly some small tinkering required, but anything can retro fit onto anything if you can be bothered. for those who can't be bothered ... you'll just need to do without one because realistically no parts such as a twingo gt specific short shifter will ever be made. the market is far too small :)

edit * cat cams sell forged con rods for the twingo gt dude. also doubt you'll ever see a set of forged piston crowns for a twingo gt as it just doesn't produce enough power, even when tuned to merrit the investment when standard piston crowns cope just fine. it's the con rods which bend when tuned to closer to the 200bhp mark. hope this helps sir !

Catcams do forged Conrods and protoxide do a forge piston head.

https://www.catcams.co.uk/acatalog/Renault_Conrods.html <--- Conrods

https://www.protoxide.eu/en/pistons-for-auto/1256-pistoni-reanult-twingo-clio-tce-12-turbo.html <--- Piston head

Protoxide also offer a new manifold for the GT which you could add a T2, T25 or T28 onto it.

Just found this post on everything you can do to a GT

The max power of a none forged D4FT is currently at 170bhp (that now has some kind of engine issue that hasn't been diagnosed yet)

The way to get that power would be by getting a new exhaust, fmic, uprated clutch, new manifold, bigger turbo, induction kit/more free flowing filter, uprated fuel pump, bigger injectors and remap.

Where to get the parts

Injectors - Either members from here or cliosport.net
Exhaust - K-Tec or a custom made one
FMIC - Universal Ebay or inquire for one from K-Tec
Uprated Clutch - I believe you can get an uprated compound which goes onto your existing clutch
Manifold - Protoxide sell a manifold for the D4FT with either a T2-T25-T28 flange
Bigger Turbo - Ebay, scrapyards, other car forums and loads more places
Induction kit or Paper filter - K-tec, ebay, Kam-racing, Demon-tweeks and many other places
Uprated fuel pump - Protoxide sell a direct fit can handle up to 320bhp. The twingo 133 fuel pump has been used in one or two GT's
Remap - K-tec, RSTuning and many other places

For forging
Piston - Protoxide sell a 9.6:1 compression forged piston. Standard and oversized
Conrod - Cat Cams

I think that's pretty much everything you can do to a D4FT engine apart from a Decat and an Electric Boost controller

if this is any help

the Webber IWP042 injectors (clio 172 / 182) with a flow rate of 240cc p/min on a 100% duty cycle at peak fuel pump pressure ALONE after remap (assuming no exhaust modifications or any other modifications whatsoever are done to the car) will produce 134bhp at the wheels but a duty cycle of 90 % is recommended by injector manufacturers ... the reasons why, we shall not go into so i will list of the injector sizes required at peak fuel pump pressure, which you will require on fuelling alone to achieve a set wheel horse power figure. these figures are only for turbocharged engines with four cylinders and 16 valves

140bhp @ 90% duty cycle will require 280cc p/min injectors
145bhp @90% duty cycle will require 290cc p/min injectors
150bho @90% duty cycle will require 300cc p/min injectors

hopefully you will begin to see the patterns emmerging there :) when you upgrade the engines breathing it means you can get more air into the cylinders which makes the calculations a little more complicated but it doesn't alter it by a huge amount.
