Well I got a bit of a bonus from work so thought I'd treat the Mrs 133 to a bit of bass to go with the uprated front speakers. :)

I had planned to go for an underseat sub but there's no chance of fitting one under the drivers seat and even under the passenger seat there'd only be room for a particularly compact under seat sub.........so not like this one then! haha

I've had a 12" active Vibe sub in my Megane since I first got it and it's a great bit of kit. This 8" active sub is really compact although will still need to go in the boot but it's 900w peak is significantly more than a lot of under seat subs. Should give plenty of extra bass but not expecting it to shake the mirrors just add some more depth.

Nice thing is that it fits nicely behind the rear seat and you can still put it all the way back. Plus the casing is rubberised so won't move around and has a carbon fibre wrapped finish so looks good.

Just gotta fit the b*gger now!

Hopefully it'll look as good as it sounds as considering it's designed to be hidden away, they've actually made it a rather funky design. :)

I'm hoping that for a compact sub it should offer enough sound but I guess in a little car like a Twingo, a 900w sub should deliver! lol

fingers crossed!

did you mean.. it sounds as good as it looks?

Yeah basically haha.

Intrigued as to what the RMS power is though, I'm guessing around what the peak power is so even 200-300w rms would be good. :)

Yeah will do, I picked it up locally but they price match their online prices so £180 in store but I got for £150!

Same one as Nigel (Madmax) has just bought for his Megane 250. Hes getting it fitted tomorrow

Where's it going in his Megane mate, under seat or boot? Me and the Mrs are considering the RS250 as a 'family' car in a couple of years so this sub could end up in there but I'm thinking under the seat would be better in a bigger car.

He was saying something about the boot but im not sure as i told him i think it would be better under the seat.

If he could get it under the seat that would be the best option as it's not a massive sub but the Megane is a lot bigger.

I'm going to see how it fairs in the boot of the Twingo, if it's not sounding how I think it should, I may re-mount it in the rear footwell behind the drivers seat.
