Well, we decided we'd have the front garden done so it gave us more parking and I wanted a better space for detailing.

So this is what we had before. As you can see, you could just about park two cars but not easily. Plus having a tiny garden at the front to maintain was just a ball ache. So we went from this -

We had laid the gravel down the shared part of the driveway last year so went for matching gravel to park on. Can get 3 cars parked easily now. Four if they're small cars haha.

looks good. we put gravel out down for our drive and it looks smart and is handy for when washing cars and just drains away

Yeah it's perfect for washing the car on as the slabs down before just let the water all run onto the pavement which isn't ideal during winter. I've washed a couple of cars on this now and even with loads of water it drains nicely.

Plus you can hear people walking up and down it so good for security and no maintenance.

Cheers guys. Must admit it's great having this amount of space at the front.

I used to have to move the Mrs car out of the way to do any cleaning/detailing or anything else with my cars. Now I can leave hers put.

Also minimal gardening at the front now which is nice. Meaning it stays neat without me having to get out and mow lawns/cut things back. Me and the Mrs planted some stuff in the bed at the back and that is my work done haha

Looks good and wish I had that amount of space. Good luck on weeding the gravel when it comes to it :p

Toss some DDT over the gravel and it shouldn't be a problem :p

petrol and a match works well :p

Well fortunately there's no soil directly under the stones so any weeds should pull up easily enough........I hope! I bloody hate gardening haha
