After a nail in my tyre, took the 133 in for a tyre repair but found that the placement of the nail meant a replacement tyre was my only option.
£100 inc VAT for 1x Conti Sport Contact 3
Never realised how expensive they were!

Including fitting? Cos that's quite cheap for them!
I was going to say that's fairly cheap normally they're £130 or something like that

Sucks that you've had to replace it due to anything other than being used, but

For CSC 3s fitted

Black Circles: £120
National:£137
etc. etc.

So I think you've got a good deal there.

Thats not too bad then. It's Budget Tyres and Exhausts Center in Carlisle.
They've looked after me in the past and I know there prices are good, I just didn't expect it to be so much lol
And yeah, fitting included.

Not suggesting you have to but maybe you could have words about a forum discount? This way they might get more trade from forum members and local members may benefit. Just an idea I'm not trying to create offence.

I had the same once..

Noticed one of my tyres was losing pressure, faster than others but not fast enough to think there was a hole in it.

Then I hit a piece of wood that was on the road and it punctured my rear left tyre.

Went in for a repair (btw the sparewheel looks so stupid, dunno whose idea it was to make it red) and they could fix the wheel. Then I said they should take a look at my left front wheel because it loses pressure.

They said "oh its probaly nothing" but I asked to check anyway.

Apparently there was still a nail sticking in the tyre. Because it was still sticking in it was losing air but very slowely.

They could fix that as well, didn't had to pay for a new one.

Not long ago i went to swap my front wheels with the rears as the fronts were fairly worn and noticed a bulge on one. Went to get new tyres and the alloy with the bulged tyre was cracked. Had to be welded up, So as well as two new tyres i had to fork out for the alloy to be welded up as well.

Not something I'd do. With the back end being snappy freshest rubber on the back ;) wear the fronts then rotate and new on the back
