Well the Gordini is a few days off being a whole year old so I thought I'd get some updated pictures along with a slight change from last time I took some pictures.

Last night she ticked just over the 1,000 mile mark.

The only major change to the car that I intended to make....

Apart from liking the look, the lack of practicality the standard wheel/tyre set up gives as well as the cost to replace a Gordini wheel, I thought these would give me a little more peace of mind! haha I was paranoid about damaging one of the stock rims, so they were taken off, cleaned, de-tarred and polished before being stored. The car now sits on Team Dynamics Pro Race 3s with 205/40/17 Falken rubber.

It certainly looks the part on those rims and white goes well, though I couldn't keep up with the cleaning.

Thanks people, I wasn't sure what the reaction would be as I know with many owners clubs there are the purists who might prefer the OEM rims.

As for cleaning they do show the dirt but as you can see, I don't have a great deal of driving so they won't take as much cleaning as if I used it daily.

looks amazing mate

think white wheels look brilliant espec on blue cars and even more so on a gordini

Car in general looks hot, but then its a Gordini!!

But sorry too say I'm a purist!! I'm not keen on the wheels!

Kinda needs a drop now though :p

Haha I know fella, the only thing is it drives so brilliantly on the non-Cup suspension, supple but firm enough to be great handling. If I put it on it's ar$e like I'd want too, it would ruin that.

That's fair enough mate and in a funny way it's kinda why I changed the wheels. I love how the OEM wheels look but I also love the look of the white against the blue. At least the OEM rims are in the loft safe, sound and easy to re-fit when I feel like it. I wouldn't make any mods to the car other than the wheels to be honest.

Cheers for the comments guys. Seems the rims are well received. :)

As for the indicators, there're actually made by Ring and flash completely orange. In fact they flash a more convincing orange than most silver indicators that are meant to flash orange. :)

Looks fantastic i could defo be tempted in to putting a set of white wheels onto my Gordini it looks so smart. Never really liked the wheels it came on, will have to check my bank account and see what i can get sorted cheers.

The stock rims aren't a terrible choice, better than a lot of OEM designs but they are fussy looking. I think with the blue inserts it matches the car really nicely but the white, although lairy matches the stripes and white details better.

White wheels on the Gordini seem to work because it doesn't break up the theme of the car. The stock rims look nice but the silver face doesn't actually match the rest of the car, where as the white just fits in with the theme better. (I think lol)
