Need to post something big!

Normally i use parcel2go.com
But they want £30 for this item.
It's a large trunk, 12.5kg 97x57x39cm
It's only going 90 miles from me. What i don't get is, i can post something half the size and half the weight for £6.50, so i assumed that it woulld be around £12 to post something double.
Anybody know any good companies?

45 mile drive meet half way? Would only cost you a little bit then, £10 in petrol...? Or is it not going to someone who could.

I've never posted anythig that big, been told to avoid a few companies though. HDL being one of the main ones to avoid

2. Stick the parcel in the boot of the Twingo.

3. Have a decent breakfast and a couple of cups of strong coffee.

4. Drive down through the lakes via Keswick, and Ambleside, then pick up the A6 at Lancaster all the way into Preston - it's a GREAT drive for a car like this.

5. Have lunch in Preston.

6. Either go back the way you came, or pick up the M6 if you've had enough fun for one day.

Can't afford a day off work unfortunatley, drove down that route yesterday for skydiving, should have checked where the parcel was going to as i wasn't far off, maybe 25 miles. Could have saved some monies!
