i never thought i would get a silver car, however after seeing the twingo in silver and giving "the noodle" a proper wash and wax, silver really suits the car, has the whole two tone grey going on with the anthracite and mercury.

just one photo at the moment just after wash.

There ya go, fixed it for you. The img tags need a web address to the actual picture, not the page. unfortunately most flickr links are for the page, or big links to the pic with a flickr signature link added on. That makes it a bit of a pain. I used the action/view all sizes/viev large image, then right clicked on the download link and coppied the shortcut.

It does look very smart in silver, whicj was my first choice colour... Intill seing the interior of the Dini.

A nice bonus for you living next to the Time Lord himself :?

looks smart mate

edit - the guru strikes again, is there anything he cant do ;)

Looks awesome. I was the same before, never really wanted a silver car - but really like the 133 in mercury :D

think the time lord has had to down grade in this economic crisis then, as its not a phone booth but the builders next door porta loo

also thanks very much single speed for sorting it out. much appreciated. will try and do my self now so can upload some more pics.

i am guessing everyone has had this feeling, the first time the car is on the drive and look out on to it and still cannot beleive it is actually there.

Looks good but you could do with a RS spoiler ;)

i have been umming and arring about that, wether i actually want one or not. how much am i looking at for one?

Have to say i love the colour of the TT. But this is all about the Twingo

that was my dads midlife crisis yellow tts :p no, he and my mum never been typical car and colour owners. the family cars even when i was young were gti's, cossie's and so on.

I test drove an ABT widebody TT in yellow, which was a very nice motor and went like **** of a shovel. But, I think the TT is a bit too big to pull off bright yellow, which personly I prefer on smaller cars.

still cant get over the fact the twingo is meant to be a small car but makes the tt look tiny when next to each other

TT's arent exactly huge though are they, I think the yellow suits it nicely! I want one!! lol

Looks good that mate, it's surprising that with a bit of attention you can really make silver look great.

thanks all, and yer i was really surprised that a silver car would come up soo well. am chuffed, shame about an hour after i finihsed washing it, it rained for 3 days non stopped. silly mother nature
