Hey all,

Been riding a 125 for a year now and after a few sessions of training I've gone in for my full tests.
Just nailed Mod 1 yesterday with no minors first time...

Anyone done the new test recently that can give me some advice for Mod 2?

Not 100% on the lifesavers when approaching roundabouts... I was told always look left, but surely if I'm in the left hand lane the danger is on the right?

took mine 4 moths ago, and tbh mod 1 was a hell of allot easier....

make sure u dont ride to slow they will fail you instanlty... i nearly did!

also ride for yourself. dont worry about some one behind you...

dont stop at roundabouts if you dont need to they want to see you are confident

Thanks for the advice Josh,
I found Mod 1 no problem. Admitted I practiced all day before hand, some tesco children's skittles and an old abandoned road did the job.

And as I say I've been riding for a year so it shouldn't be a problem, was just looking for general advice.

it was years ago that i did mine but all the best mate

Did mine years ago but I remember being told to check the left when turning left for cyclists, basically whenever you change direction or speed up check to the side of you and it's only a quick glance.

Another tip is when you check your mirrors (which you should do often), is move your head so the examiner sees that you're looking in your mirrors, don't just "move your eyes"

good luck

Josh has basically told you everything that i would of. Also if some T***** trys racing you as you overtake dont just let of the throttle as they dont like it. Either keep at your pace or go a bit more, my instructor told me that someone hit 95 mph on there test doing this and passed because the instructor liked that he didnt back down. :D

Nailed it, 4 minors.

Any bikers out there got a choice.

2007 Fazer 600 Naked
£3,500

2010 XJ6 Naked
£4,500

XJ would mean taking out a £1000 loan
