Hi All,

I am in need of a new headunit for my Twingo. My aging Alpine now lacks the quality of the latest Bluetooth headunits so it's time for a change.

I have it down to either Alpine CDE-178BT or CDA-137BTi.

Does anyone have either of these or the capability to tell the difference?

I have made the decision to upgrade the front speakers also to the PIONEER TS-Q131C which I found in a previous thread. They seem to be pretty decent. I think if there is cable run I will move the current fronts to the rear just to have something as they don't sound standard but I am yet to take the door cards off!

Any help/advice gratefully received.

Check that it receives digital signal first for when they change over from analogue I upgraded and found out later that mine doesn't :( I have three way 300 watt pioneer's in the front with the bass turned right down and a self powered little sub in the back to handle the base and it sounds great and it's not too in your face big base or anything just sounds nice.
