Okay so it's time for me to throw in the cheffing. Doing too many hours for too little pay and it's not doing my back any good. Managers don't treat you well and enough is enough.
After searching and applying for ages!!
I finally got a response, from the one I thought I was least likely to get!!

Audi near me want me to go in for an interview ina weeks time. Anyone got any experience in car sales? I know I don't which is why I was shocked they wanted to interview me!

40hours a week
5days a week (some Saturdays)
14k start + commission

Nope, but for general interviewing, find out as much as you can about the company and their products. Answer questions concisely, clearly, and without waffling. Don't be afraid to say if you don't know an answer - but show that you are eager to learn. Emphasise your strengths - even if that is just reliability and a neat appearance. Prepare a few questions to ask. Try to ask one, just to show that you have been listening. They're not paying a great deal, so insist that they give you an R8 as a company car. ;)

Thanks araf, yeah it's not much to them but its a big difference to me... Lol! I'm on crap money atm! :-(

Ah nice one, good luck buddy! Can't help on the interview front though, never had a job interview in my life!! Pretty much hit it lucky and was offered my job on a plate ;-) so shall be coming to you for interview help when the time comes lol.

Here's a good question when they ask "Have you any questions for us?".....

Ask;

What is the the first job you see me doing if chosen on my first day/week of starting?

That way you'll get them thinking about you in the role and depending on their answer you can expand with any experiences you've had that you may not have mentioned earlier in the interview.

Now I know it's car sales so you'll probably get "Well you'll be on the sales floor engaging customers and closing deals etc etc" but they could also give you insight into other roles you may be involved in...

Also another tip... Don't keep saying "erm" when stuck or just thinking. Take a breath, it may seem a lifetime but it isn't. It's a very short pause it then gives the outward impression that shows you have a: knowledge of the issues and don't need to think out loud b: You are considered in your answers and only deliver your answer when fully thought out.

Oh yeah another tip...
Don't always use work examples of your strengths. Use out of hours examples too, that way it shows you have balance in your life and that not everything is work work work.

Well that's a great one :) thanks. Has anyone had any sales experience and something that can put the light on things a little more... I've never had a (desk job) as a such. Always been on feet for 14hours buzzing about like a mad man, it's a big change in pace.

I had an interview with VW awhile back, although I came top on the assessment and contributed the most in the group assessment they chose someone who could ******** the most and only cared about selling and money rather than someone who enjoys cars and respects customers, and I got turned down with a recommendation from a VW/Audi group regional manager.

Other than that its good money lol.

Fair enough :) il have to ******** about then ;) hahah! Nah. Il be honest, they don't want to employ me for who I am then it's not the job I want
