Thought I'd join here seeing as I'm looking into getting a Twingo 133 as it makes more sense for the 2-3 mile cross-town commute to work than the RX-8 I'm running at the moment. I'm trying to get a feel for what ownership is like and what modifications are possible. Also if I were to get one I'd love to get it with a sunroof as that's something I don't have at the moment but would really like, from what I've seen on Autotrader/Pistonheads they're ruddy hard to get hold of... :( ...anyone know of someone selling one? :)

Also, am I right in thinking the only things the Cup adds is shorter stiffer springs and 17" wheels? Anyone know the price of buying just the springs from Renault so you can self-Cup? ;)

Cheers!

Welcome.

The sunroof is a rare option and I can only think of one car with it.

I'm not sure if the antiroll bars and damper rates are stiffer as well as the springs being shorter and stiffer. Being as the rear arb is built into the axle, that would be costly to change out. Don't forget a set of 17's

Welcome to the site. No one has the sunroof as it ways a lot. As for the price of springs speak to Karl (twingogeekeo)

Cheers for the replies. If it is just springs and wheels then that's good because it's gonna be hard enough trying to find a 133 with a sunroof without having to find a Cup with a sunroof... I'm not too worried about the wheels anyway as I'd probably swap them for something else anyway! If I can't get hold of Cup springs I'd probably go straight to Eibachs.

Welcome to the forum.

The panoramic sunroof is extremely rare because it's such an expensive option, but my 133 has it and it's brilliant.
