Perhaps if they made some actual cars they might be in bisiness lol

That was the plan. And it was ambitious. But now...?

And the exige s looks lovely

Some cars normal people can buy because if i had around 50 grand to spend im sure id get a gtr and not a lotuals

Yeah what happened to the cheap and chearful elise?

Shame about Bahar, he seemed to have some decent ideas, and brought the ferrrari design guy over here too.

Im thinking a nice hot hatch for lotus.

Nice lightweight FWD N/A

What could go wrong?

New Elise is mind blowing! Performance is amazing yet they claim 45mpg average combined!

I've always loved the lotus cars, it's inevitable I will own one at some point

me too waitey, think they are amazing. i have always been a fan.

lets hope they stick around

Having been in an exige before, it was bright orange :D, I don't think I could own one unless I had a daily and another between. It might have a roof but it's just brutal

Same with the new scooby sti, those gear changes were like being hit with a sledgehammer! Was great fun to drive on a track but normal driving was hideous

The scooby is meant to be a daily almost not like the exige. The bloke who took me in it drove a Monaro Vxr as his daily. Personally I couldn't stomach the 8-9mpg in town

It's in all the east of england papers that Baha had been doing some rather dodgy stuff to do with expenses, and giving cars away (and not properly as promotions through the company), so it doesn't sound like he was doing himself any favours.

Is a shame though, Lotus are definitely a company we want to keep going
