Breaks my heart to say this but I'm no longer in love with my twingo. I've felt like this for a while so it's gonna be stripped and got rid of.

Your all goin to laugh but I'm lookin at gettin a astra van 1.7cdti sportive. They pull through the gears really well and hardly drink any fuel

I started to get a bit fed up of mine in the last few weeks - managed to shear a bolt in the hub, had to spend a wad of money on insurance, tax & service on it (all in the same month) plus I've still to replace the rear pads on it, but since having it up at Crail last Sunday to give it a bit of a thrash and that combined with the drive up there, I'm back in love with it again!

I know I have my heart set on a latest shape Fabia VRS next but I'm more than happy to stick with the Twingo for another while in the meantime

Airbag cover creaks on my steering wheel (ever since arnold clark replaced the rotary switch) and the drivers seat is still knocking and making a sound like a spring has broke. The whole seat frames been replaced :s

I'm out of love with it at the minute, but it'll be staying. Getting a sabelt steering wheel for my birthday. I want bucket seats but I feel that's been brought on my how **** my drivers seat is. It's a love hate relationship because I'll go out next time in it for a long drive and I'll love it (as long as musics playing)

I've always thought that no matter how much you love/hate the 133, you'll always miss it when it's gone. Such an amazing little kart to drive, especially on a quiet B-road!

I'm totally smitten with mine at the moment and it's only gonna get better when I decat it later on in the year :) sometimes you just have to take it for a hard drive for it to make you grin again

My boss has a 1.7 astra van.. Pulls hard!!
That's y I want 1. My mate has 1 I borrowed it for the day and loved it. The gauge hardly moved. There like gold dust at the mo to get a low millage. It has to be silver or black

This is very true however if I drove mine hard at the moment the wheel may fall off haha

Maybe you should have kept your GT?? Never could understand why anyone would want a N/A over a turbocharged car? Good luck in your search for a cdti.

Jesus christ.

Turbos eventually need to be replaced they don't last forever.
The engine sounds excellent on the RS rather than a hairdryer
Because a gt is just pretend power. You can stick a turbo on anything.
Cup chassis, suspension, and all the other small bits
When the small turbo is released by ktec then an already excellent engine will be even better.
Look at Neils car.

Just a pointless comment, you don't 'understand' so you bought a GT. Therefore, you have to post to make your balls feel bigger that you have a 1.2 and not a 1.6 (not that a 1.6 is that impressive anyway)

(In no way am I saying I don't like the GT :))

I came from a well tuned GT, and compared to my RS, GTs were ****.

The GTs parts weren't over engineered to accept much more power and handled like a trolley compared to the RS, in gear pull was abit better low down but at higher speeds the RS pulls better.

The only good turbo'd car is a high capacity turbo not a 1.2, obviously I liked the car which is more of a commuter but if you're semi serious about good handling you're better off with an RS which is a better package overall out the box.

Let's not let this become one of those threads

(Look at me stepping away from conflict)
