More of a tweak list for my white and black ph2 - can't really call it a project or progress but it's just a few minor exterior and ICE tweaks planned to personalise it just a touch more. Have to say a big thanks to this forum as there have been a load of really useful threads.
Already has a gloss black roof, diffuser and the black alloys.
Agreed a price for a gloss black spoiler with the dealer when I brought it back in March so finally got a fitting date of today.
Car also developed a swimming pool in the spare wheel well from an incorrectly installed light cluster so combined this repair under warranty with the spoiler fit. Dealer is about 40 miles away so it's a good trek out there but good fun on some lovely country lanes.

Leak fixed nice and quickly but the spoiler which the box was correct turned out to be about 3" too wide for the vehicle??? So now got to wait for them to get the correct one in and do the 80 mile trip all over again  /
Just returned home from that to find my black badge covers had arrived from underground parts - I knew the front one wouldn't have a hope of fitting but I'd assumed the rear would be fine... unfortunately not, the badge is a fair bit smaller than the cover ... typical... A long wait to see if they produce a set which covers the facelift version and have to stick with the chrome for now.
On the ICE front I want to keep the head unit to retain the Bluetooth connectivity which works really well (Better than my Clio Tom Tom one) and the pretty well balanced sound I get from it. I just need a bit more oomph in the system. So after a couple of searches on here I got some prices for the underseat subs... ouch
Then I remembered some kit I had from my S reg Clio which I had about 15 yr ago which was up in the loft- a Kenwood power amp
and 1000w Alpine Sub
(pics to follow when I work out how to do them properly!). Sub is conveniently black and white to match the car... saddo! Amp fits nicely under passenger chair but sub hasn't got a hope , well it can slide under without any box until you try and slide the seat back. I use the boot quite regularly so don't really want to use the full space in there plus the dog will start complaining So I'm going to be installing it in a corner box which will let me transport shopping, kids and dog! Also going to upgrade the standard speakers and drive the rears from the power amp too.
Have to state that I'm in my late thirties with two kids so I'm not doing this to wake the next street up when I turn it on - I just love my music and don't really want to shell a coupla hundred quid out when I have all the stuff already. Anyways that's enough babble for now - need to do a bit of searching for pics how to guides. B
