hi guys..
ready to purchase a new set of wheels to tart the car up..
currently running the standard 7j et 55 17'' wheels..

want to get a set in 7.5j et45 17''

does anyone know if they will fit.. or if im going to have any clearance issues ect. im confident with the offset being smaller i will gain clearance of about 5mm max on the inner (closest to suspension arm) but obz will be pushing out 18-20mm more towards the arches..
the twingo has a fair arch overhang.. and with keeping the 195-40-17 tires that should be no issue.. but i just want to know what you guys thought..?

thank,
ollie.

How much stretch are you hoping to achieve with 195/40 tyres on a 7.5" rim?!
The Contis are stretched on a standard rim, letalone a wider one!

Rim wise, I think you might have a little poke, potential rubbing issues on rear arches with bumps. I've got 15x7" et40 wheels with 195/50 section tyres and they sit just about flush with the arch (no, I'm not trying to achieve zen like STAAAAAANCE, it just happened).

P.s - I f*cking HATE that Stance word
