Ok, I've noticed a slight biased on here towards Dodo Juice and don't get me wrong it's a great range of products but it may not be for everyone, so what other products do people have or recommend?
Here's a few bits of kit that I'd recommend from experience.
Shampoo
Meguiars Gold Class - A decent shampoo you can get straight off the shelf, not too pricey and nice to use. Just don't mix it too strong as it can apparently strip wax.
Chemical Guys Maxi Suds - Really impressive shampoo and cheap as well. Adds good lubrication and you don't need to use much at a time so dilutes well.
Polish
Autoglym Super Resin Polish - Barely abrasive but leaves a wicked shine and a great finish for pretty much any wax I've used. Also fills swirls so great for use by hand.
Meguiars Crystal Polish - I wouldn't bother with so much with the Step 1 and 3 of the three step Meguiars gear but the Step 2 Polish is actually rather good.
Wax
Collinite 476 (£15) - One of the first waxes I bought and very impressive. Easy to over apply but once you've got the art of thin layers, this stuff looks good but lasts ages.
Finishkare 1000P - Very similar to Collinte and my reason for buying it in the first place. Would be hard to choose between the two as both last ages and are similar to use.
Other
Autoglym Rubber & Vinyl Care - Cheap, easy to get off the shelf and good for all interior and exterior plastics.
Chemical Guys Wheel Guard - A good, relatively cheap wheel sealant.
Sonus Rim Bright - PH Neutral wheel cleaner that although needs agitating is one of the only wheel cleaners I'd use on my Megane or Twingos rims.
Demon Shine - Not worth using how the instructions say but diluted and in a spray bottle, it's good as a drying aid and as a clay lube.
Autoglym Metal Polish - Ideal for keeping exhaust tips shiny, for example the Twingo exhaust.
Autoglym Auto Fresh - Spray on fabric scent that smells like talcum powder.
California Scents - The best airfreshners you can buy in my opinion. Some great scents and last far longer than any other brand I've used.
Bit of a list and mostly off the shelf products for people that might be put off by brands that seem a bit far out, specialised or expensive. There's loads of other products and brands that deserve a mention but those are some of the cheaper, decent products out there.
Got a bit carried away and ended up with pics but might be helpful to some peeps!
