I know it's been raining a lot up here, but my passenger footwell had a puddle in it today - known issue? (I haven't had passengers).

Nope no trees, unless the previous owner did, only thing I can think of was the amount of water I've had to drive through this past few days (North East) - I'll keep an eye on it, the driver side was dry incidentally.

I'm sure I had dampness / water under passenger seat before but even with this heavy rain it hasn't been back :/

I've literally just had the same problem with my mums car, she had damp on floor and had water sloshing about in doors etc if you turned. It was blocked drains as Karl said. So I'd make sure they're unblocked first :)

Hasn't done it since, but the damp in the car is causing me issues now! (car windscreen froze up inside :) ) so ordered some silica gel pack thing.

Haven't had chance to check under the bonnet, but where are the drain holes located?

I had this problem. Turned out the windscreen wasnt fitted properly so got it replaced and its been fine since :)

was that the original screen?

I remember someone mentioning it happening with a replacement screen which hadn't been fully sealed. Maybe it was you?

That was me neil. National windscreens were rubbish. They had to come back and re fit it because it was leaking

Had the same issue, aircon pipe was not fitted properly and was dripping fluid INSIDE the car instead of outside. Dealer had to strip whole interior and steam clean all the carpets, all done under warranty.
