Hallaton bottle kicking for me

Doing what??

Courtesy of Wikipedia......
There are virtually no rules to the bottle-kicking, except that there is no eye-gouging, no strangling, and no use of weapons.[1] In the early afternoon, the hare pie is spread on the ground at a dip at the top of Hare Pie Bank,[4] which is possibly the site of an ancient temple.[7] Each bottle is then tossed in the air three times, signaling the start of the competition.[8] Each team tries to move the bottles, on a best-of-three basis, across two streams one mile (1.6 km) apart, by any means possible.
The contest is a rough one, with teams fighting to move the bottles over such obstacles as ditches, hedges, and barbed wire.[4] Broken bones are not unheard-of, and emergency services are generally on standby.[9]
After the game, participants and spectators return to the village. Those players who put in an especially good effort (for example, carrying a barrel across the goal stream or holding on to a barrel for quite some time) are helped up onto the top of the ten-foot-tall Buttercross, and the opened bottle is passed up for them to drink from before being passed around the crowd.
The festive day normally draws to a close with participants and spectators retiring to pub for drink and banter.

Shrovetide football is awesome, id recommend anyone doing it, be prepared to use your elbows though, even watching it is awesome fun.

What Mr ben is doing sounds amazing, i want to go, lol

Got the Easter off and ripping up the back garden grass (Hate grass, makes me sneeze) and then sort over leveling the back garden as its on the pi$$ and then build a wall to stop the mud falling as making it two levels and then lay the patio stone and somewhere in between that, go to the allotment and clean and detail the Kia Soul.

Back to work on the tue and gotta work on the royal wedding (Who is gonna come in with a truck or van for a service :? ) then prob back to it on the sat sorting the upper deck of the back garden......who needs a man  ;)

It's the start of nearly two weeks off for me, got a long list of boring adult things to do, and not in the streamy sense.

Clean the family bus,
Empty the garage and fix the roof,
Tidy the front garden,
Plant plant things,
Pimp the RS,
Bung a load of stuff on eBay,

Mostly Grim, rather be finishing off crysis 2

Working on the Royal Wedding too, which is fine :) I don't care much for the Royals really...
