Im currently sat in korea a bit bored so i decided to do what any of us would do... a spot of car shopping...

just worked out i could afford a lotus exige with a not bad monthly repayment amount...tempted? i think so!!

issue? i was saving for my own place...i shouldnt be allowed free time like this haha!!

What do you want more, your own place and your beamer or an exige?

So many available in the second hand market.

Thing is, an Exige isn't very practical... You'd need an Exige alongside another car (or are you planning on keeping the BMW as well?).

I'd go for own place really, Exige in a couple of years...

Matt in regards to not being practical, how so?

It's a Hardtop so no severe problem with rain, okay driving them in the wet can be fun, but Pritch has been driving the Beemer in the wet so would just be a little more fun and maybe a bit more sideways dependant on how heavy footed he is..?

How is an Exige practical? It's a two-seater sports car. Nothing else you can do except drive them and by drive them I mean track them or at least spend time learning the roads. Not much room inside, wide turning circle, low to the ground and the list goes on with all cars just like this.

Short wheelbase, mid engine, light as fook... That isn't going to be "a little fun" it's going to be a spin.

Don't get me wrong... I'd LOVE to have one. Just maybe not until I'm rich and can afford to run it during the summer weekends only and dry store it for the rest of the time :p

Personally, I'd never hold my life up for a the sake of owning a nice car.

If buying the car means not saving for your own place then don't do it. Your own place is so much better than any car. :)
