Prank call

Received a phone call earlier that was a blocked number. In short the person said they were going to beat me up and kill me for messing with his sister. Problem for them is a) only ever been with one girl and me and her bro get along ok. b) I recognized there accent As someone I know so think they were using funny call app for iPhone. Just wondered what you guys think I should do. Oh and at the end off the call I got it on speaker and they went I'm your worst nightmare and my dad shouted back im his dad so B******* too you an they rapidly hung up.

Thing is I'm not 100% it a prank but think it must be or they got mixed messages bout something. I ent exactly a strong person and don't really believe in violence but cracking out the golf clubs early is tempting. I know my dad will look after me though as we work together and always got each others backs so don't feel threatened

hmm you would expect if its a prank call from a mate they will let you know soon and have a laugh about it, or it kinda stops being a prank call and starts becoming harrassment :?

Doubt it wrong person as they sed the estate I live on and my full name. I now have the numbe off the person I think it was so if they phone again I'll ring using housephone to find out if the number is engaged. Problem is im rather annoyed there is an iPhone app that can help people dothis sort off thing

Deffo a prank I use the phone jacket app on my phone for pranks it's amazing lol put the phone on speaker choose a character and press there sayings to make a convo hahaha !

This what the problem is. People think it's hilarious to prank people like this but it can tramatize people. Luckily I not too bothered as in pretty sure if a prank but if not I ent to phased by it. But sad to hear bout ur probs

Silly silly boy. Thing is don't have many friends and all the ones I have that are girls I know there brothers and didn't sound like them plus the fact ive only been with one girl makes me feel like it a prank

I had someone prank me like that once. Not the same story but something sinister that you could almost believe it was real. Unfortunately for my friend, I recognised the voice. But in your situation, doesn't necessarily mean it is the friend speaking. The friend could have a got someone else to do the talking, which may explain why you don't recognise their voice?

I dunno. To me it just sounds like a hoax, just think nothing of it unless it happens again.

I normally play along with the pranks, as the recipient would probably have expected to seriously hack me off, so by joining in, they get bored easily and hang up. ;-)

Yes I've only ever been with 1 person I know tht for sure. And I do recognize parts of there voice so migh off been putting a accent on or used voice changer.

Got to be a wind up well if they do end up doin something u got us lot as well hear for you ! also did they respond to anything u said if so they went using a voice changer as I done some research on my phone for iPhone voice changer apps and the only way u can do it is by pre recording a wind up.
