problem with getting the car into the 3rd gear

I have some trouble with the 3rd gear. If the gearbox is warmed up and i wanna go from 2 to 3 i can't get it into gear and hear and feel grinding sound in the stick. But if i go from 2 to 4 and then 3 there's no problem.
