Now you guys all know what a state my car was

after a number of quotes to get it detailed the cheapest was £330 (with £150 extra potential)

well after thinking long and hard i decided i have better things to spend my money on. As a result, i got up this morning (at the crack of dawn) and set to work trying to see if i could do my work and make it look fantastic again

firstly i pressure washed the car,
washed with auto gylm conditioning car shampoo
pressure washed
half dried
clayed the car using lots of lube (i was very worried about this as had never done it before over the whole car, but i can safely say if you use enough lube and apply the correct amount of pressure it works wonders and i was shocked by how much cr*p came off the car!!)
back out onto the drive and pressure washed the car
washed again with dodo juice sour power
pressure washed down
back into garage and dried off
allowed to dry
polished using auto gylm super resin polish (i don't usually like auto gylm products and have always avoided them but i had heard great things about the SRP especially the new formula so gave it a go and i thought it was brilliant!)

i'll wax later as i need to get some bits done round the house but i can safely say the car looks FANTASTIC and much better than when i picked it up over a year ago.

Also the paintwork literally feels smoother than glass

if you want a quick swirl reducing product try Poorboys Black Hole. its a fillar type glaze (better detailers will correct me if im wrong) it can remove light ones but not real heavy ones.

used the lighter one on my Audi and it turned out great.
