You need some deep dish rims too... and coilovers.

p.s How much is that spoiler costing you?

No oem+ suits bmws really well.

1M wheels are better suited to his but expensive, just like that little carbon spoiler!

Tasty add on Rob ;)

Disagree lol, well kinda... My friends Z4 with M3 CSL Alloys and coilovers looks sick, but these below look amazing.

Have to say I don't like that trend of wheels JE_GT. Think OEM+ like waitey said is the way to go. That little carbon spoiler looks ace. Making it look like a 1M would be cool

I love them lol, obsessed with that look. I want some dished alloys on mine now :( Anyone want to buy some Turinis lol?

You going for a remap and DPF delete rob?

everyone keeps telling me to get a remap...just not sure if its worth it

i remember remapping my 1.2 corsa D (haha) but it did have an affect but not that much....

and i dont wanna buggar my car up lol

If it's a turbo diesel then a remap does wonders... my friend remapped his Fiat Punto Sporting diesel to 165bhp.. I think the standard was supposed to be 120bhp

My Meg 1.9 DCI 130 was awesome after the map. Took it up to 180bhp / 350lbs. Once you got into 3rd it just took off, proper pin you to the seat stuff.

Would be the first thing I would do. Im going to get the wifes QashQui done for the point once its bedded in, a good few extra LBS to lug its weight around.

If you are unsure, buy one the to remap box things like the Bluefin, so you can map it back at any point. wont be as good as a custom map, but does have a extra piece of mind.

https://www.mybluefin.co.uk/search?make=3&fueltype=2&model=28&variant=2038&year=2008

Bear in mind you may get more smog once mapped, but as they say, no smoke = no poke.

I'm not sure about the BMW turbo diesel, but the Audi 1.9tdi ws much better, going from 130 up to 160 without any problems or plumes of black smoke like some high outputs are prone to. The real benefit was the increase in mid range torque which most of the time meant that 5th gear wasn't needed. Just accelerate up to 4th then slot into 6th. Once rolling, it would effectively be happy pulling one gear higher without labouring or feeling gutless for any given speed Over a long term average, it was 4mpg better after the remap, so an allround win

Rob I wouldn't worry about a remap ruining parts.

The 123d has EXACTLY the same engine just with a tweaked ECU to gain more power.

If you remap the 120d depending on the remappers experience it should perform as the 123d ;).

Plus BMW/Mini engine are built very well and can cope with quite abit more than the factory spec.

Any more m-sport parts in mind?

A few yes, they do a lush CF splitter and diffuser but its all soo expensive so it will take time..

im now single again so i'll be saving a fortune in that sense which will help and im putting some clothes/shoes on ebay ive never worn so ill get there:)

Which model *20d engine do you have out of curiosity as 2007 onwards are 177bhp and with dpf removal and remap should see around 200bhp and around 310lbs/ft, the 123D has 204bhp iirc. Pre 07 are roughly 160bhp I think of the top of my head.

M parts are lovely, but too damn expensive! Is that the 1M style rear diffuser or the m sport option kit rear?

I know there's a rear diffuser which has the dual exhaust slots like the 1M and there's quite a few exhausts to suit.

On a random note have you seen the m sports bucket seats ;)

its the 177 engine (08 plate)

its the bmw performance rear diffuser.. and the bucket seats are stupidly nice but soo expensive!!!

Isnt the 123d a twin turbo? extra turbo being the main deference?

yups

After your recent troubles, you might want to invest in some Motorsport or Performance alloys in combination with a bit of lowering and maybe even rolled arches you'll get a bit of the M look. Exhaust and remap will give you a bit more horses and a load extra torque!
