promotion work?

Has anyone done any promotion work?
i get a fair amount of time off due to my job so im tempted to do some promotional work in my free time (work are fine with 2nd jobs, already discussed with them)

so whos done it?/thoughts on it?

im not bad looking so i shouldn't struggle if its on sheer looks! haha

In my free time I'm in a promo-team for an events company. Although that sounds big, it's a friend who just started his own company. He starting with making flyers and posters for party's and then decided to start his own company called 'Replay Events'.

It's all still small, once in a while I make some announcements on my FB, handed out flyers and hung up posters at nightshops, fast food places, fitness.. in return I get free entrance to the party's (although I'm not really in it for the money, I like the guy and I just wanna help him out and get this to work).
