Just had to have my 10yr old staffy put to sleep. For months he has had a cough and breathing problems so we thought were let him have his last Christmas then have him put to sleep

It's always a sad day when you have to do something like this :/

At least he's not in any pain now

Thats heart breaking. My staffy caleys 3 yo now and i love her to bits and if we had to put her down id be lost! The last staffy my gf had lasted 18 years! She still misses her to this day. Rip ty

Sorry to hear the bad news Dazza, know how difficult it is.
I lost one of my dogs four years ago, 1 week before Christmas day.
It was a Thursday, he was took ill on Sunday, diagnosed with liver cancer, the little lad had showed no signs other than the final 4 days, he didnt eat, lost loads of weight and his veins collapsed.
Had to have him put to sleep and he died in my arms. Miss the little fella every day.

Man's best friend.

I helped my mate move today and his bros staff has had 6 puppies so I know mine has only just been put to sleep but I pick the girl 1 up next weekend can't wait and I'm not telling the kids

Thats champion mate.
You'll never be able to replace Ty, I waited 8 months before getting another pup, but dogs personalities are so unique, its nice to have a different dog.

Once youve had dogs, a home without a dog is just a house.
You can spend too long grieving, get in quick like you have done, you'll keep your sanity!
