Anyone had any radio interference issues ??
My RS has suddenly started with really bad interference, not all the time but more often than not.

You posted this a while ago, I hoped someone else would say something.

Right on a twingo I'm not sure (Its why I waited a while), But the older clio mk2 (It what the twingo is based on) the electrics in the aerial base could go wrong, and you needed to get a new base to sort the problem out. A thread on cliosport on the matter.

My stereo does get interference in certain places (like in between two big office building, or the whole of Ewell for some weird reason) an old fella at work reckoned I should put a bit of copper grease on the aerial thread to help and improve signal transfer through the screw thread. I'm going to try that trick tomorrow.

Hulmey, have you managed to sort this?

I have exactly the same issue with interference.

I thought it may be something to do with the Aerial, so I planned to replace it earlier until the whole thing came out of the base!

Not sure what to do now other than change the whole base which sounds like it could be a good idea anyway?

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I may be able to buy a complete new base and aerial and how to fit?

I have not been on the forum for a long time so not done many searches on this so apologies if it has already been covered.

Cheers
Tom

I had a similar problem. I got an aerial from a breaker via Ebay for £17.50. It wasn't from a 133 but I think they're all the same.
The radio works fine now. I think that's because there is an amplifier in the base of the aerial which is the part that fails.
Fitting was a bit of a pain because you need to remove the interior trim panel on the driver's side rear pillar as well as to detach the back edge of the roof lining.
