Hi there,

I'm new here, just purchased a Renault Twingo RS Gordini, I did have a Twingo GT but had a slight 'bump' and wrote it off, got another one, kept it for 2 years, traded it in for a Clio S 1.5 DCi and then traded that in for my current car, the Gordini! So theres a quick history of my car ownership, anyway... back to the point;

The radio in my Gordini doesn't come on when I 1st get in the car and switch on the engine, I'll push the 'on/off' button and it will just display 'RENAULT' on the small screen. Then after about 20 mins, it will come on. Also, when its on and I get out of the car and lock it, the radio will remain on. Is there anyway of this being solved? Ive read the manual but cant seem to find any solution!

Thanks in advance!

That all sounds wrong.

My radio (if previously switched on) comes on when the ignition is switched on. It goes off when the ignition is switched to the off position.

You can also switch the radio on/off with the button, regardless of the ignition key

Ive tried that, pushed all the buttons. All I see is 'RENAULT'... Then jump out of my skin when, 20 mins later it comes on! Then it functions normally. I'll have to take it back to Renault. Maybe just a simple electrical fault... Amazing car other than that, oh and the tracking... Must get that done too

Welcome :)

Sounds like a quick trip back to the garage may be in order.
